This project was inspired by the beautiful sycamore branch I found during a walk, hemp twine from the Rhode Island Recycle Center, and the quality leftover poster paper I claimed from a friend. I wanted to create a piece which would capture part of the experience of wind, and I drew upon my experiences as a sailor for the sewing and knot-tying techniques.
