This is an iterative, collaborative project centered around a concept of three interlocking tetrahedral forms built out of steel pipes and clamps. As its first iteration, I installed it at FrostBurn in West Virginia with my collaborator Melissa Way (https://melissa-way.weebly.com/) in February 2020. It was designed to be a tiny, portable, easy-to-built, non-directive space for play or any other interpretation.
For its second iteration, I collaborated with dancer Wendy Jehlen (anikaya.org) and built it for her to dance with, using a slightly larger black-painted set of steel pipes. I constructed it in her back yard in August 2020. Photography from the performance can be seen here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CD2rK1MMoIJ/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
For its third iteration, I will collaborate with Wendy again and install it in a public park in Somerville in May 2021, location TBA.
